I have found a way to make pizza that will not make the blood sugar spike and get out of control. It just happened that I found a tortilla that is only 4 to 5 grams of carbohydrates so I thought "why not use this for the crust of a personal pan pizza".
So I tried it and just as I had thought, it worked. I can now eat pizza when my friends come over. It's the Tam-X-icos* 6 inch round whole wheat tortilla.

It has
NO cholesterol,
NO saturated fat
NO trans fat
9 grams of carbohydrates
4 grams of fiber

So when we subtract the fiber to find the true carb count, this leaves... (more)

If you have been craving dessert or something chocolate these brownies will
hit the spot. and satisfy that sweet craving. I sometimes eat one in the afternoon
for a snack. I also found that they are more filling if I add some sliced almonds or
chopped pecans or walnuts to them before baking.
You can sprinkle the almonds on top before you bake or mix with the batter.
The pecans and walnuts are better mixed into the batter.

Ingredients

    * cooking spray
    * 1/4 cup butter
    * 2/3 cup sugar, granulated (see tip)
    * 1/2 cup water
    * 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

I love eatting out, especially at the Olive Garden. The one thing I like is their great tasting garden salad. The tangy Italian dressing is awesome. It took me over a month of asking to get their famous Italian Dressing recipe.
Here it is for all of you Olive Garden fans.

Pour this dressing on your salad then toss lightly just before serving.
It seems to tast better if left sitting over night so the flavors can mingle.

1/2 cup white or red wine vinegar
1/3 cup water
1/3 cup vegetable oil or olive oil
1/4 cup light corn syrup
2 1/2 tablespoons grated Romano cheese
2 tablespoons... (more)
